Meghalaya Model United Nations is a Youth Organization with the objective of engaging young people from the state of Meghalaya, in particular, and the North East region, in general, in discourses concerning global affairs and the agendas of the UN. Our goal is to foster the development of the leaders of tomorrow. Since it's inception, Meghalaya MUN has successfully conducted conferences with an unrivalled experience, having attracted applications from all over India and a few neighboring countries. We are the only MUN conference in the state and the second in North East India to have been recognized by the UN Information Center for India and Bhutan (UNIC). We are strictly a non-profit youth organization, comprised wholly of Youths from diverse background with a shared passion for empowering and uplifting the Youth of the region. Meghalaya MUN has also collaborated with several government and private organizations on different youth based projects, following the collaborative spirit of the United Nations.

The Meghalaya MUN team is a group of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing a high-quality Model United Nations experience for our delegates. We are all students at different universities across India, and we come from a variety of backgrounds. However, we are all united by our love of MUN and our desire to make a difference in the world.
We believe that MUN is an important tool for educating and empowering young people. Through MUN, delegates can learn about international relations, current events, and the United Nations. They can also develop valuable skills such as public speaking, debate, and critical thinking.
We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all of our delegates. We believe that MUN should be a welcoming and supportive space for everyone, regardless of their background.
We are also committed to providing a high-quality educational experience. We work hard to ensure that our delegates have the opportunity to learn about the UN, international relations, and current events. We also provide them with the opportunity to develop their public speaking, debate, and critical thinking skills.
